A flash flood warning is still in place for the Eastern parts of Vitilevu.
Nadi Weather office Director Rajendra Prasad said a trough of low pressure lies in the South of the country and is slow moving.
He added heavy rain fall is expected for Eastern parts of Vitilevu for today and tomorrow, as occasional heavy rainfall is also expected for Suva and Nausori which may cause flash flooding in low lying areas.
Prasad said over 100 millimeters of rainfall was recorded in Nausori alone in the last 24 hours.
According to Prasad flash flood warning may last till Wednesday.
