As we enter into the second night of continuous heavy rain, a flash flood warning remains in place for the central, eastern and northern division.
The Nadi Weather Office said the current rainy weather experienced in the western and central division will continue through tonight.
Director Rajendra Prasad said the low pressure system is slowly moving away from Viti Levu but the flash flood warning is still in place except for the eastern division.
The heavy rain experienced around the country has seen a struggling farmer in Sigatoka lose thousands.
Salad Bowl farmer Siteri Lewenivanua said she has lost about $4000 in the floods, adding that her neighbours have also lost vegetables which were ready to be harvested.
The weather is expected to improve only in the western division from later tonight.
