A flash flood warning remains in place for the Fiji group, mainly Viti Levu at this stage due to an active trough of low pressure.
Acting Director at the Nadi Weather Office, Alipate Waqaicelua said they are predicting heavy rain over the next 3 days which is expected to affect the low lying areas.
Waqaicelua said although flooding is unlikely in the Western division which has been affected by the long dry spell, there may be some relief for residents due to heavy rain over the next few days.
People are advised to keep listening to the weather reports.
