The Duty Forecaster Nadi Weather Office has confirmed that Fiji should expect heavy rain for the next few days.
Assistant Director Nadi Weather Office, Alipate Wagaicelua had earlier warned against crossing and swimming in flooded streams, rivers and culverts and had urged the public to take precautions during this weather especially school children who are now on school holidays.
Those living in low lying areas are asked to monitor water levels and move to higher ground if necessary.
