The Nadi Weather office has issued a flash flood warning for the lowlying areas around the country as a trough of low pressure which is currently lying over the group moves slowly to the west of the Fiji group.
According to the weather office, the system is expected to move over the group later today.
Occasional rain and a few thunderstorms have been forecasted with rain increasing from later today.
