A Flash flood warning is in place for the Southern and Eastern parts of the larger islands, in the Central Division and Southern parts of Vanua Levu.
Nadi Weather Office, Director, Rajendra Prasad said flash floods are likely and to expect wet weather for the next 24 to 36 hours.
According to Prasad, the weather patterns are due to an active trough of low pressure slow moving over the group.
