A flash flood warning is in place for the whole of the Fiji group as a band of cloud and associated rain is slow moving over the group.
The Nadi Weather office confirms that the band will see heavy rain in certain areas for the next two days while other places may only experience overcast weather.
However, they advise people not to assume that they are safe if they do not experience any rain as the band of cloud and rain is expected to move over the whole group.
The weather office is monitoring the situation and also says that the weather is expected to clear up by sometime by Tuesday.
