The Nadi Weather office has advised residents in the Central Division who live in low lying areas to take precautions as localised flash flooding is expected later today.

Duty Forecaster, Shalvin Singh said a trough of low pressure lies over the group as occasional heavy rainfall is expected for whole of the group especially in Navua, Suva, Nausori, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Labasa and Savusavu.

According to Singh there is not a possibility of large scale flooding.

Similar weather is expected to continue throughout the day.
