The Nadi Weather office has issued flash flooding for later today of low lying areas especially in Eastern Viti Levu.
This is due to a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain which remains slow moving over Fiji.
Rainfall heavier at times is expected for most parts of the country.
People living in low lying areas are urged to take precautions.
