The Nadi Weather office has issued warning of flash flooding of low lying areas of Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Lau and Lomaiviti group as an active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains slow moving over the group.

Weather Forecasters say they expect periods of rain heavy at times in these areas which cause flash flooding.

They expect this weather to continue for a couple of days.

According to Forecasters moderate to rough seas are also expected and people going out to seas should take precautions.
