The flash flood warning remains in place for the low lying areas of the central and western parts of Viti Levu and the whole of Vanua Levu.
Director Rajendra Prasad said there has been very slight changes in the weather pattern from this morning and the possibility of flash flooding cannot be ruled out for tonight.
Prasad said people should not take this notice lightly.
He said this weather pattern will continue for the next two days.
