The Nadi Weather office has warned that flash flooding of low lying areas is still likely as heavy rainfall is expected for the whole of the Fiji group.

Duty Forecasters say a trough of low pressure is lying in the West of the main islands bringing in a lot of rain likely to cause flash flooding.

Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours Suva recorded over 43 millimeters of rainfall which was the highest around the country. Nadi recorded 25.5 millimeters of rain up till 9am today.
