A flash flood warning is in place for most parts of the country today.
The Nadi Weather Office said a trough of low pressure lies over Viti Levu and is expected to move to the north. Associated cloud and rain is expected to affect most parts of the country and flooding of low lying areas is highly likely later today.
Occasional rain, heavier at times, is expected for the whole of the Fiji group throughout the weekend.
People living in low lying areas are urged to take precaution.
