The Nadi Weather office has advised that a flash flood warning remains in place for the Central Eastern Viti Levu and Southern Vanua Levu.
Director Rajendra Prasad said a low pressure system is currently over Central/Eastern Viti Levu which is also affecting northern parts of the country.
Prasad added that in past 24 hours the Central/Eastern Division received the highest number of rainfall.
People living in low lying areas in Central/Eastern Viti Levu and Southern Vanua Levu have been urged to take precautions. The low pressure system is expected to move south and other parts of the country will be affected from tomorrow.
