As a trough of low pressure lies slow moving across the Fiji group, the Nadi weather office stressed that flooding of low lying areas, rivers and creeks are still possible today.
The Duty Forecaster confirmed that heavy rain is expected in Suva, Navua and Nausori with rain becoming more frequent and heavy later today.
He confirmed that the flash flood warning will remain in place until midnight tonight and people living in low lying and flood prone areas must take precautions.
