A flash flood warning remains in force for the Northern Division and people living in Labasa and surrounding areas need to take precautions.
Nadi Weather Office Director, Rajendra Prasad said it is not all clear as yet and for others of the Fiji group, we can still expect flooding of low lying areas.
The Emergency response teams remain on alert on the Northern Division with the flash flood warning still in force.
Police Spokersperon Atunaisa Sokomuri said people from the evacuation centers returned home but are expected back before nightfall.
Sokomuri said they are also concerned that people continue to use the Seaqaqa highway despite warnings from the PWD that the road is closed.
