The Land Transport Authority has today cleared the air that the taxi fare flag fall rate increase is correct and there is no confusion surrounding it.
LTA Chief Executive Etuate Koroi said he does not know why some people are now saying that there was a 33 percent increase in the flag fall.
Koroi has confirmed the new taxi flag fall is $1.50 and not $1.33.
However, last Thursday former Interim Transport Minister, Manu Korovulavula made this announcement.
