Tomorrow will see an increase in the amount you will have to fork out for your taxi and bus fares.
However, you will be paying more for taxis as the Fiji Taxi Union has raised their flag fall mark that was supposed to be 33% to $1.50 which is 50%.
Replying to queries, Fiji Taxi Union General secretary Rishi Ram said that this was the final price and that there is nothing much that can be done.
The Taxi union has confirmed that starting from Monday the fare as soon as you sit in the cab will start from $1.50 before 10pm and thereafter it will start from $2.00
