Five new 7s caps expected
Coach Iliesa Tanivula has already revealed that rugby fans will be in for a surprise through the changes that the coaching staff has opted for the New Zealand and USA 7s.
Some of the new players that are likely to force their way into the final 12 member squad are Semesa Gonevou, Nemani Nagusa, Apisai Navura, Kelemedi Bola and Peni Gaunimeke.
The likes of Jerry Burotu, Watisoni Votu, Emosi Vacago and Miti Nacagilevu will be retained from the last leg of the IRB 7s series while Ilai Tinai, Joeli Lutumailagi and Apisai Nayabo will be recalled for national duties.
Jerry Burotu and Emosi Vucago are expected to share the captaincy role in this trip.
The Fiji 7s team will be named at 11am today at Kadavu House.
Fiji is in Pool D of the New Zealand 7s with South Africa, France and Canada.
The New Zealand 7s in Wellington kicks off next Friday.
