Five players are expected to be wearing the Digicel Fiji Sevens team jersey for the first time next week in Australia.
They are Nadroga reps Apisai Domolailai, Apisalome Waqatabu, Samisoni Viriviri, Ulaiasi Lawavou and Suva’s Leone Tabuarua.
As the team management gets ready to announce the 12-member team tomorrow, experienced players like Lepani Botia, Ilai Tinai, Joji Ragamate and Osea Kolinisau are also likely to be named in the team.
Being the only survivor from the Gold Coast Sevens last year, Osea Kolinisau said they have a balanced team for the first leg.
The Gold Coast Sevens kicks off next Saturday with Fiji playing Scotland at 2.42pm in its first pool match.
Fiji will play Tonga at 5.58pm and will then play Australia at 9.46pm.
