A five year old boy is admitted in hospital after he was hit by a vehicle yesterday in Matanagata, Vatukoula.
Assistant Police PRO Corporal Suliano Tevita said the boy got off a vehicle and ran across the road when he was hit. He was with his grandfather when the incident happened.
Meanwhile, investigations are underway into the cause of a fire that completely destroyed a two bedroom house in Lomawai, Sigatoka, yesterday.
The owner of the house was away with his family when the fire started however it is still not known how the fire started.
