Despite the global recession, the devaluation of the Fiji dollar in April and the tough economic climate in Fiji, the fishing industry managed to outperform some of the other larger industries.
Fiji Fish Managing Director Graham Southwick said things are looking positive for the fishing industry.
Southwick said the industry is ploughing ahead even though it’s harder to find the fish compared to previous years.
