Arrangements are now being made to send the three Vietnamese fishermen to Vietnam who allegedly stabbed three crew members in Suva early Monday morning.
Assistant police spokesperson Corporal Suliano Tevita confirmed the three cannot be charged in Fiji as they have not been able to find a suitable interpreter.
Meanwhile, the three victims have been released from hospital.
The three Vietnamese fishermen are alleged to have been drunk during the incident and had just returned from a drinking party.
An argument erupted which led to the alleged stabbing inside the fishing vessel.
