Three foreign fishermen have been admitted in critical condition at the Suva Private Hospital after they were allegedly stabbed by three other crew members early this morning.

Assistant Police Spokesperson, Corporal Suliano Tevita said they have taken the three fishermen into custody and charges are expected to be laid by this afternoon.

The three fishermen, who have been taken into custody, are alleged to have been drunk during the incident and had just returned from a drinking party.

An argument erupted which led to the alleged stabbing.

The three crew members received serious injuries.
