29-year-old fisherman, Tomasi Tukana was today found guilty of robbery with violence before Magistrate Amani Rokotuinaviti.
The court heard that on February 17th this year, Tukana entered the Mobil Service Station Mini Mart in Mead Road, Tamavua, pushed and shoved the cashier to the ground and took $266.59 from the till and fled to Wairua Settlement.
The robbery was reported and Tukana was caught and arrested at the settlement.
The accused has been remanded in custody to await sentencing on July 1st.
