Today marks a historic moment for boxing in Fiji as for the first time ever a professional boxing contract has been signed inside a boxing ring.
The Naidiri Boxing Promotions has signed a contract for a professional boxing contract which will feature Napoleon Taumopeau and former Fiji heavyweight champion Mosese Kavika.
Boxing Commission Director Malakai Veisamasama said this is a stepping stone towards moving professional boxing forward in Fiji.
Other fights will see Opeti Tagi taking on middleweight champion Abhay Chand while Wahid Khan takes on Johnny Singh.
The Naidiri Boxing Promotion programme is scheduled for the 3rd of May.
