The government has issued Fiji’s first ever casino licence, to an American company One hundred Sands Limited yesterday afternoon.
Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama said the casino development in Denarau, will have major benefits for Fiji.
One Hundred Sands Limited Chairperson Larry Claunch said that the project will be beyond our expectations and will enrich the lives of Fijians.
The construction of the Casino will cost two hundred and ninety million dollars which is expected to be completed by 2013.
