Another mile stone was achieved for indigenous Fijian businesses today by the Waimaro Investment Holdings of Tailevu which opened their first ever Supermarket in Korovou Town.
To mark the achievement General Manager of the ANZ Bank in Fiji Robert Bell was the chief guest as they have also installed the first ever ATM in the town of Korovou next to the Waimaro Investment Supermarket.
Bell said the work done by the people of the district of Waimaro shows their commitment to develop the resources which is available to them.
Also the chairman of the Tailevu Provincial Council, Josefa Serulagilagi said the new Supermarket in the town of Korovou was made possible through the contribution from each individual in the district of Waimaro.
The Waimaro Investment Ltd consists of 49 clans which belong to the two tikina of Namalata and Sawakasa.
