The Ministry of Education has come up with its first ever curriculum for kindergardens.
Interim Education Minister Filipe Bole said kindergarden curriculum in the past has been isolated piece of knowledge and adds that the new framework, called "Mataniciva" is very important in development of a child as the learning process begins from one to six.
He added that kindergardens did not develop a curriculum due to economical reasons and once it's developed, it will be reviewed.
Bole added that the framework has been approved by government to ensure that new teaching methods are introduced in education sector.
