A firm decision is expected to be made later today on three former councillors of Nadi Town Council who were terminated earlier this year.

Interim Local Government Minister, Jone Navakamocea told Village News that the officials of his ministry are expected to meet officials at the Attorney General's office later today to sort out the issue of the re-instatement of these councillors.

He said the three councillors deliberately did not attend three meetings which resulted in the meetings being cancelled as there was no quorum. Navakamocea maintains the termination was made according to the Local Government Act.
