Fireworks expected in Crusaders-Blues showdown
It has always been a much anticipated fixture in the New Zealand conference and the way the Blues lifted their game against the Hurricanes last week, it surely means it will be big business come this Friday.
Speaking to Fijivillage from New Zealand, Former Fiji 15's player, Tabaiwalu Matson who is now the Crusaders assistant coach said the seven time Champions will rise up to the occasion.
Matson who played five games for the All Blacks between 1995 and 1996 and two Tests for Fiji at the 1999 World Cup said people should not rule out the Crusaders.
Meanwhile, Israel Dagg will be on the wing with Tom Taylor at fullback.
Matt Todd is the only non international in a powerful pack while Dan Carter will spearhead a backline that features big centre Robbie Fruean making his 50th appearance for the Crusaders.
The Crusaders will face the Blues at 6:30pm Friday, the Waratahs will face the Rebels at 8:20pm while the Reds will host the Hurricanes at 10:20pm.
