Two families have lost all their belongings in two separate fire incidents yesterday.

Assistant police spokesperson Sergeant Atunaisa Sokomuri said the first incident happened in Cautata village in Nausori where a 49 year old driver's wooden house was razed to the ground.

The damage is estimated around $30,000.

Police said the house was insured.

In another incident, a 54 year old farmer of Navo in Nadi lost all his belongings after his house caught fire yesterday afternoon.

Damage is estimated around $9,000.

Cause of the fires is not known for both incidents.
