Firefighters are currently trying to contain a blaze that engulfed a sawmill in Labasa this morning.
Speaking from the scene, the Divisional Fire Officer Northern, John Pillay has confirmed that Valebasoga Tropic Board complex caught fire at around 1am this morning and firefighters are trying to put out the blaze.
Pillay said when his officers reached the scene, they were facing difficulties because there were no fire hydrants nearby.
Police are expected to comment later today.
