The top level of the Parade Arcade building at Victoria Parade has been completely destroyed in a fire this morning.
Firefighters have cooled down the hotspots inside the building at the top level and there are also some minor damages to the forth level of the building as water used to put out the fire, seeped into the offices.
Seven fire trucks are still at the scene as firefighters are still inside the building carrying out investigations.
Our reporter Dhanjay Deo spoke to Chief Fire Officer Mark Reid said he is pleased that fire fighters successfully controlled the fire.
Meanwhile, Victoria Parade near the main ANZ House leading to Parade Arcade and Joske Street is now been opened to all traffic.
