The National Fire Authority suspects the MH supermarket fire in Labasa started from the bulk store.
Acting chief fire officer Tupou Saubuliniyau said initial investigations have started and their officers are also helping out police in questioning the people who were spotted near the complex when the fire started.
According to Saubuliniyau, they will need some more time to establish the cause of fire.
The fire started after 7 on Saturday night and engulfed the whole MH building, however, firefighters managed to save the nearby shops.
