Four people are homeless after two lean-to homes were destroyed by fire on Saturday night in Lautoka.
Investigations are continuing as to how the fire started at Nasir Place which destroyed two lean-to homes located just metres from each other and threatened a third home, however, NFA Lautoka got there in time.
It is believed that the lack of water in the area during that time made work difficult for the fire fighters.
The homes are owned by Navin Singh who had the two homes rented out to two couples while he occupied the third nearby home.
No one was injured.
