2008 has not started well for a family who just lost their home to a fire, in Nabua 2 hours ago.
It is believed the woman of the house was cooking on kerosene stove when it exploded, thus spreading and destroying the whole house.
The house belonged to the Chand family and is situated behind William's Bakery in Nabua.
All family members managed to escape without injuries.
Police and Fire fighters currently at the scene are investigating the matter.
