A four bedroom house in Wailevu, Labasa, was completely destroyed in a fire last night.
The house was vacant during the time of fire and police are now interviewing neighbors as to how the fire started.
The cost of damage stands at around $40,000.
Meanwhile, people in Labasa are urged to take extra precaution as heavy rain continues from this morning.
Labasa police are monitoring the situation and are advising people living in low lying areas to contact them if the situation deteriorates.
