Quick action by fire fighters stopped a fire from spreading to other shops after a fire at Jolly Good Restaurant in Lautoka earlier this afternoon.
An eye witness, Avinesh Nand said the fire fighters arrived at the scene within minutes after the alarm was raised.
Meanwhile, Divisional Fire Officer Western Isoa Makutu told Fijivillage news that they received a call after 1.30 pm today and fire fighters managed to contain the fire that had started from the kitchen and spreading to other shops.
The kitchen was completely destroyed in fire.
Investigation continues to ascertain the cause of fire.
