Former Fiji National Rugby League General Manager Tomi Finau said he welcomes the investigations that have been brought up by FNRL Chairman Immanuel Rueben.

The Fiji National Rugby League has revealed that Finau was removed due to non proper acquittal of accounts.

Speaking to Fijivillage Finau said although this is news to him, he welcomes the decision.


Finau also confirmed that he had a one year contract with FNRL from 1st January 2013 until December last year.

He also said that he was not removed from the position.

Meanwhile, Reverend Rueben claims that Finau failed to record some of the financial transactions from last year which they are currently investigating.

Rueben said the board will have to decide on whether the matter will be reported to the Police.
