The Fiji Bank and Finance Sector Union has called on the Financial Intelligence Unit to intervene and investigate a Interim Minister who is alleged to have evaded taxes and has a large sum of money in bank accounts off shore.
Union General Secretary Pramod Rae said that investigations should be conducted to ascertain how the money was taken off shore and where the money came from.
Meanwhile, Rae has lashed out at the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption for saying that they do not have tax expertise to investigate the Interim Minister.
