Governor of Reserve Bank Sada Reddy has reiterated the importance of financial literacy as he launched the financial literacy "2010 Green Ribbon Campaign" in Suva this morning.
The campaign is an initiative of the financial Literacy working group of the financial inclusion Task force.
Reddy said financial literacy is an empowering skill needed throughout life.
Reddy adds that the financial literacy group will look at developing strategies for the nation, schools and households as key areas that they will work on this year.

The Financial Literacy Working Group comprises of private, public sector and non government agencies and was set up by the Reserve Bank to promote greater financial inclusion in Fiji.
