Financial assistance is pouring in for the Prime Minister's Disaster and Rehabilitation fund following the devastating impacts of Tropical Cyclone Tomas.
Carpenters (South Pacific) Limited's Chief Executive officer, Sir Mogan Lourdencdin, presented a cheque of $100,000 to the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama today.
While presenting the cheque, Sir Morgan told Bainimarama that he believes the people of Fiji will conquer the disaster and rebuild their homes under Government's leadership.
PM Bainimarama acknowledged the donation saying that it would greatly assist Government in carrying out rehabilitation works.
Meanwhile, the Punjas Group of Companies yesterday presented a cheque worth $10,000 towards the Prime Minister's Rehabilitation Fund.
