Financial constraints have stopped Savusavu Zone Champions Saint Bedes College from sending all their athletes to the Coca Cola Games.

Manager Ben Ting said at least 60 athletes had qualified for the Coke games but due to financial difficulties they will only be sending 12 athletes to Suva.

Ting added the school has also been trying to fundraise in order to send all the athletes to the Coke games.

Ting also said it was even harder for them after the Coke Games was deferred to the first week of the second school term because most athletes had to go home for the holidays.

According to Ting, the 12 athletes who consists 3 girls and 9 boys will be led by Coca Cola games senior boys 200 metres champion Beniamino Maravu.

The Coca Cola Games will be held next Thursday and Friday.
