Ways should be created to stop school dropouts.
These are the words of Fijian Teachers Association General Secretary Maika Namudu whose comments come after research that a major factor in the number of school dropouts were attributed to financial problems.
Namudu said people are struggling to meet the demands and some sort of assistance should be provided so that people are able to assist their families.
A 2008 research conducted at the Nabua Matua Programme showed that a major factor in the number of school dropouts were due to financial problems.
