The European climax of the IRB 7s series kicks off in Scotland tonight and the tournament is a key stepping stone towards the Rugby World Cup 7s in June.

Defending Scotland and Series champions New Zealand lead the overall race by 32 points but only six points separate South Africa, Fiji and Samoa who are placed second, third and fourth.

Meanwhile, Digicel Fiji 7s head coach, Alifereti Dere has named Emosi Mulevoro at playmaker, Sakiusa Gavidi at halfback, Samisoni Viriviri at rover and Benito Eramasi at wing for the match against Spain.

In the forwards, Captain Setefano Cakau retains his position with Nemani Nagusa and Jasa Veremalua.

Fiji will take on Spain at 9.52 tonight.

Fiji will then play Argentina at 12.58am tomorrow and our last pool match is against Australia at 5.15am tomorrow.

The Cup quarters start at 10.58pm tomorrow, Cup semis kick off at 2.58am Monday and the final will get underway at 5.45am Monday.
