Today will be the last day for all affiliated members of the Fiji Rugby Union to submit the names of those candidates who will contest the board members election next Saturday.

The FRU is now in the process of putting together the agenda for the annual general meeting which will also have the election of the President and the board members.

Under the current FRU constitution those unions who have more than 50 clubs will have 5 votes in the AGM and those who are less than that number will have less votes.

Yesterday, interim chairman Rafaele Kasibulu said all the current board members have the right to stand for re election if they are nominated by the unions and they want to take up the post again.

The AGM will be held at the Outrigger Hotel in Nadroga.
