Fijivillage understands that coach Alifereti Dere wants to gauge some of the players performance on Friday at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s - The Road To Moscow before sending the names of the 15 players.
Mike Ryan earlier said that the 12 member team will come from the 30 member training squad that was announced last week.
A 21 member team will be announced after the Marist 7s and the World Cup squad is subject to change due to injuries and other matters.
Meanwhile, Joeli Lutumailagi will feature for the Tabadamu side which includes Setefano Cakau, Jone Vota and Wardens winger Neumi Lagilagi.
The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be held this Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
