The final twenty five member national athletics team to the Pacific Games is expected to be named today.
The team will be announced following the final trials which got underway in the last hour.
Competition is expected to be tough today as secondary school athletes will be battling for a spot in the team with names like Marist brothers High School and Blue Ribbon Champion Banuve Tabakaucoro going up against others like Niko Verekauta, Iliesa Namosimalua.
In the girls Division, Defending Coca Cola Girls Champion's leader Ana Kaloucava will also be in action along with others like Elenoa Sailosi and Paulini Korowaqa.
The Final athletics Trial is happening at the TFL Stadium.
