With only days remaining for the National Council for Building a Better Fiji teams to go around the country to get the formal signed responses from the members of the public on whether they support the draft Charter or not, the NCBBF mass made it clear that it is necessary for people to put their names on the forms.
While questions have been raised on why people are being told to put their names on the forms due to privacy issues, the NCBBF Media Head Filimoni Kau said the names should be filled in for the sake of transparency.
Kau said the response forms have been finalized and they are now being distributed with half a million copies of the draft People's Charter and State of the Nation and Economy Report.
Kau said they will also have witnesses during the filling in of the forms. He said this could include the police, Justice of Peace, lawyers, church ministers, pundits, senior civil servants, doctors, teachers, academics, accountants and chiefs.
